Not sure about the other reviews, but ours worked great!! Took around 5-10 minutes to set up. Instructions made it very easy. Plugged him in and he was good to go. He came in 2 days before Christmas and we have turned him on every night and he’s still going strong. Everyone loved him!!

I was impressed with the quality of it, the speaker is loud and fun. I gave it as a gift to my 3 yr old nephew and he loved it. It was just really pricey. But if you can afford it it’s worth it for how much better the quality is than the cheaper ones

Cute Santa. Glad we purchased , adds personality to Christmas tree. You do have to stand the ladder at a certain angle or he won’t climb but once we figured that out he works well. I like you can turn the volume very low if you just want to watch him climbing without music , it does turn up very loud too which is a nice option. Was a little expensive in my opinion .

Cant wait to use this. the Santa goes up and down flawlessly, but make sure it is perfectly on a flat surface; if it is tilted it reduces the smoothness of the climbing actions

Our family loves watching this little man in a red suit go up and down the ladder as Christmas music plays and the big colored lights shine! The controls are located inside his red toy bag on the floor so they are hidden. We like that it plays so many different choruses, but the volume can be adjusted or turned off and he can still climb up and down. Our little grandsons love him!!!! We have him leaned up against a pencil tree so we didn’t use the brace that is included. This works great for us. We are very pleased.

What can I say. This is just about the coolest Christmas gadget I've ever seen. Saw it last year at Cracker Barrel but it was just t expensive there and I let it go. Amazon posted it and I watched as the price came down until I bought it. Old Santa climbs his ladder dragging his string of lights up. I set it up against the wall just to watch it work but will put it against the tree when I break out the Christmas stuff. Great item, great seller, great price. Love it!

I received this item in a very fast time. If you are planning this to be a surprise be aware that it was shipped with just a shipping label attached to the box where obviously anyone can see what's inside the box. When you open it, you may see that it comes well protected. Santa's terminations are well done. Assembly is very easy. The ladder's base weight gives a firm support to the ladder. Just assembly the ladder and plug it in. Enjoy the Christmas music while Santa is going up and down the stairs with bright Christmas bulbs. I need to say that the Christmas Spirit has already arrived at home. Kids were very excited to see this beautiful Santa! I recommend it a 100 %.
