I needed something to mount my phone in the corner of my windshield. The windshield on my 300 is deep so I needed something that would extend far enough into the cabin that I wouldn’t have to lean forward to access. I’ve used this for two months now over thousands of miles driven through hot and cold temperature transitions within the same day. The suction cup has held firm with no issues. The tension on the wings that hold the phone remains tight and the release button still works without issue. At first I tried the mount without the included mini support stand. That worked okay but there was slight movement of the arm with road vibrations. The stand resolved that. Because I can drive 8-12 hours a day, I need the ability to charge my phone. Of course I can charge from USB ports in the car. But I don’t want a cord draped across my dash over my steering wheel. And don’t want the phone mounted in the center console because I have a tablet there. So I use bluetooth from the phone and a flat solar charging battery pack which rests on a non-slip gel pad on the dash right next to this mount in my windshield and plug into my phone with a short USB-C cord when charging is needed. I like this mount and would recommend.

So far I love this cell phone holder. It’s better then I expected. Fits my 2013 Mustang fantastically with the adjustable arm. The added base makes it sturdy. I’d recommend this to anybody.

This car mount is fantastic! Initially, having trouble getting the suction to stay on my window. I contacted the company, EXSHOW, and they immediately sent a new one to me at no charge. Customer service was fantastic! As it turns out, the issue was not the car mount, as suspected, but the windshield.
The mount is wonderful. The portion that holds my phone is very sturdy and does not drop my phone, even when angled down. I love that it comes with a piece to attach to the handle to rest on the car dash for added stability.
With laws changing in regards to phone use (even holding your phone while driving is now illegal in my state), I felt I needed to have this. I’m so glad I bought it.
If needed, I’d buy it again, and certainly recommend it to others.

Recently, my state passed a law requiring drivers to be hands free, which is difficult when you need to have your GPS close to you in order to read it. So, I went looking for a GPS holder that would extend as far out as possible. Not as easy to find as I would have thought, but then I cam across this one. I wasn’t entirely sure if it would hold my Google pixel 2xl, with its case, but it does.
I must admit that I’m impressed with this GPS holder. The suction cup is very strong! I put the holder in the small section of my window, as you can see from the photos, which allows me to have it quite close to my field of vision, but it’s not in the way as it was when I had it up on the windshield.
I will update this review in a few months to update potential buyers on the longevity of the suction cup since there were some complaints about that.

This cell phone mount works great. Was looking for a mount for my Toyota Sienna minivan. The windshield is far away from where you’d want your phone to sit. So this was perfect. Had issues with other cheap models losing suction and falling off in the winter. This one has worked great so far. The sticky dash mount helps take the weight off the suction cup so it stays right where you want it.
Also the big reason I got this is because the side arms are big enough to accommodate my galaxy note 5 in a slim case with a popsocket connected. Most mounts aren’t able to secure a phone that has a pop socket on it. But this one works surprisingly well.

I was skeptical because when I first mounted it on a Prius; it was not possible to rest the stabilizing foot on the dash–too short. The mount wiggled on rough roads, knocking out the phone on occasion. HOwever, I cut a piece of 2×2 wood to rest the stabilizer on and with some adjusting, it works very well. I like that the mount accepts my phone with a fat case and my wife’s phone will a skinny case. She complained about the Rube Goldberg appearance so out came the black duck tape and now she’s using what she thought was unnecessary. It’s great, and safe, to have the phone right above the wheel, but off to the side–in eyesight while watching the road, but out of the way. A prior mount on the wheel was annoying and always in the way turning. With the Exshow mount properly stabilized, the phone remains steady with no more unscheduled trips to the floor. To Exshow I suggest that you build an expandable stabilizer that could reach the dash in a wide range of cars and configurations.

I purchased two car mounts for my iPhone 7 Plus with an Otterbox case. I like one and I’m returning the other one. I kept this one: EXSHOW Car Mount, Universal Windshield Dashboard Long Arm Car Phone Mount Holder for iPhone 7/6S/6 Plus/5S/5. The thing I like best is the clamp that holds the phone. It is easy to get the phone in and out. The clamp holds the phone securely. It’s easy to rotate the clamp in any direction. It’s easy to charge the phone while it’s in the clamp. The suction cup that attaches to the windshield is strong – it has not fallen off yet and hopefully it won’t. The other car mount I purchased is “Car Mount, 2 Clamps Long Arm Universal Windshield Dashboard Car Phone Mount Holder Cradle for iPhone 7 Plus 6 6s Plus, Samsung Galaxy S7 S6 Edge, HTC, LG and Most Type of Cell Phone – by Newward.” I’m returning it. Even though it comes with two clamps and should therefore fit any phone, I found it difficult to get my phone into or out of the larger clamp.

This is similar to one that my girlfriend purchased for her car. I liked hers so much I ordered one for myself. So far it is working great. There is a wire cable that extends to the windshield and then a connector that rests on the dash to take the weight from the sucker on the windshield. The wire cable is firm, but still there is some wobble on rough roads. My fold over leather case is too bulky to be used with this, so I have to take it out of it’s case, I have another standard rubber case and it fits fine. I am using a Moto G6, but this would work with any phone on the market, I think.

My car’s dash and vents are set at an angle. The vent car mounts did not fit correctly and started to scratch my vents. The usual arm mounts and CD tray mounts required me to stretch my hand to hit the phone. This mount can be attached at just the right spot. The long arm is flexible enough to set the desired shape but it won’t bend on its own. The little attachment glues in anywhere and helps keep the phone steady. The holder itself leaves plenty of space on the sides for the phone’s buttons and also at the bottom to plug in the phone. The one handed phone release simply does what it’s supposed to.
I’ve used the car mount in rough terrain without any problem. This is the first phone mount I’m truly happy with and would recommend it to others.

It arrived on time and installed easily. But since my iPhone is in a Mophie case with backup battery, as you can see in the photo, the phone is too thick and tall for the holder. On a bump road it falls out of holder.* update* I’ve found that if I pull off the bottoms portion of my Mophie case, which I need to do when charging the phone in the car, it sits in the holder much better. Also if I angle the phone slightly back it doesn’t fall out of the holder on bumpy roads. So I’ve upgraded my rating since I took a 10 hour drive using GPS on my phone in the holder and everything worked perfectly!!

My state recently went to a hands-free law. My car has blue-tooth, but this puts the iPhone’s screen in my direct line of vision, or wherever you want it. I use it every day and love it. In three months of use, the suction poped off once, but I think that it was because my glass wasn’r entirely clean before placing it and there was a big temperature differential. The easy-release and clamping mechanism for the phone is a huge plus. Would highly recommend this phone mount.
