I wear a hardhat in a cement operation where temps vary from 100 degree to 150 every day, all day. Sweat bands that are made for hardhats did nothing for me. Some of the other guys with bald or short hair wear welders skull caps, that helps but not enough to make a big difference. So I saw this looking for something to wear while riding my bike, looked like it wouldn’t blow off my skull while riding like others have, decided to get it since it was a prime sale. When it arrived I was working in the yard on a 100 degree day. Wow. Never knew it was a cooling cap! Did as instructions said, put it on and felt, actually felt my body temp dropping. That night took it to work and could not believe the difference. I’m getting 2 more to keep at home and for the bike. Enjoy

Because I’m a big guy, and bald, I tend to sweat a lot. I wear baseball caps when I go out, and the sweat will soak through the baseball cap and make sweat stains. This helmet liner sits above the ears, and is nice and thin. Very comfy. It’s thin enough to wear under a baseball cap, which I’m very happy about; because that is the reason I bought it. It soaks up the sweat and my baseball cap doesn’t look like it just pissed itself lol. Will update the review later after using it at the shooting range, where it can get very hot.

I’m a big sweater and I have a bald head which makes it even worse. I used to wear a headband on my 20-40mile bike rides and I would literally have to stop several times to wring it out cause it would be completely soaked. I’ve worn this on 2 40mile bike and it is amazing, it really works it magically distributes the sweat to wear in doesn’t drip in my eyes and even the it feels really wet, it’s not dripping everywhere. Amazing! I highly recommend this product and I’m definitely getting another one.

I was skeptical about this helmet liner providing relief from heat. I am mostly bald and had been using head coverings with sweat bands built in to keep perspiration out of my eyes. They would become soaked in short order and I would have to change out to a fresh covering. The first time I tried the Mission liner I was amazed; it actually worked to wick away the perspiration and keep it out of my eyes. I don’t use it under a helmet but just under a large brimmed cotton hat to keep the sun off my head while working outside. I can’t say enough good about this product! Since I have only been using this product for about a month, I cannot comment on the durability.

I’ve been a a huge fan of Mission products ever since I got my first cooling towel. This helmet liner is perfect for practically any helmet to help keep you cool. It fits nicely under my bike helmet as well as my airsoft helmet. I also found it extremely useful for VR headsets, as they can get pretty uncomfortable when you start to sweat. I actually expected for my headset to fall off because the helmet liner wouldn’t have a good trip on the padding, but it held just fine even with constant head bobbing.

The only thing I don’t really like about it is the size. It’s just a little too small for my liking. I would have preferred it to be like a beanie and have it go over my ears completely, but it only covers them partially and the seam is uncomfortable against my ears.

Still, this is a very good product and I definitely recommend it.

I have been using head bands and sweat caps for years. I use them biking, working out, yard work. Honestly, this is my favorite. Wish I would have bought one sooner. Fits my head perfect. Total comfort. Although there is no terry cloth band, it seems to manage my sweat better than my head bands with the absorbing cloth. And yes, it does disperse the sweat and make you feel like you have a mild cooling sensation. Especially under the fan at the gym. The moving air really makes the cooling sensation nice. Anyway, this seems to be a pretty high quality sweat cap. It is thin enough for me to wear under my helmet when biking, or just going for a walk. Maintaining it is easy. In my experience, sweat and salt can ruin elastic and some cloth, so I hand wash with a bit of laundry soap after each use. It dries quick and you are ready to go again. To sum this up, I am a believer and really enjoy this cap.

1st time wearing it was under a bicycle helmet. it was about 85 outside. Felt like I had an ice pack on my head. It eventually warmed up and I forgot about it. Next time I wore it under a rimmed hat in 95 Denver dry heat. It helped a little. On the bike though with some wind, it worked great. Even under my helmet. I am totally bald and my only complaint is with the white cap I got. It is see through so it looks almost skin color on my head. I would get any color but white. Also, I have a big skull. This is just a bit too small but no big deal. I wear it under hats and helmets.
