I had two ligaments shredded about 20 years ago, and successfully emerged from surgery and physical therapy. About a month ago, walking to the mailbox, that knee suddenly started hurting in a way reminiscent of the original injury. I used an ACE-brand knee support as well as a few other brands, but as other users have noted, odor quickly becomes an issue, and it simply wasn’t practical or comfortable for all-day use. Their sizing guide was spot on, no small feat these days, so the size I ordered fits perfectly. It’s very rare for me to be thoroughly happy with any product, so when I am, a positive review is a must.

I’ve bought lots of knee supports (a drawer full, plus some that landed in the trash) trying to find a pair that supports my knees adequately, stays up, don’t sweat, don’t stink, and don’t hurt. Finally, I have found what I’ve been looking for with these Mava supports. Today I did major grocery shopping with these on and my pain level was greatly decreased. I wear these all day without discomfort. I measured for a size large but they were too tight for me, I ordered the XL before even returning the L because I could tell these were going to be what I’ve been looking for. Despite having to return the size large and reorder I am still rating these “five star”. Also, I appreciate the price of these Mava supports and it was one of the reasons I decided to try them.

These things fit perfect and the added warmth they provide sure help my knees on cold winter days. I wear them all day and hardly notice that I even have them on. One of my knee caps seems to want to float around and these keep it right where it’s suppose to be which is the added comfort I was looking for. I bought these to help me while I await surgury for a meniscular tear and for recovery. I measured as directed and the fit is perfect. First thing I noticed taking them out of the package, it that they are thick, warm, and durable. Excellent compression and very comforting. Instructions say hand wash and line dry. I believe these will give years of use. Gives better support than the copper compression ones I have bought in the past. How will they hold up over the years? That remains to be seen, but I’ll give them the care they recommend and feel they will work just fine. Thanks for a great product.

Great compression! These work really well for my arthritic running knee and for the price it just can’t be beat. I love running but have arthritis throughout my body and just a few weeks ago while preparing for a 10k race I developed what I thought was quadricep tendonitis. The pain became more intense and I ended up having to do 2 different 10k’s because the first one I took a anti-inflammatory which caused me to almost pass out during the race. Needless to say I was really disappointed with the results of that race. Anyway I purchased competitors product that was priced the same as the Mava for one of there’s and it did not provide the compression I need and wanted. I purchased the Mava “Sleeve Support” as well as the Mava “Sport Knee” sleeve and both are way better than I could’ve imagined and a bargain when compared to the competition and well made on top of that, excellent construction, excellent material and excellent compression. Highly recommended!

I have to be honest. I was very shocked how comfortable I feel in “Patella Brace Elastic Knee Support”. I’ve tried so many knee brace’s and compression knee support to help with chronic pain in both my knees from just walking or sitting in a chair; Which none of them provided any relief or made the pain worsts. When you wear those other’s knee compression supports (well, for me that is) — when my knees had inflammation in them — and I put one of those compression sleeves on — it held the swelling in place; but made the pain elevate and created more discomfort. I found “Patella Brace Elastic Knee Support for Knees by Mava Sports” …by accident, while doing a internet search for knee braces. I can’t begain to tell you how less pain I feel and able to get around a little better than before while wearing these different knee supporters. The cloth like feel, it’s like you have a pair a socks on — (I know that may sound funny) but that’s what it feels like to me. I’m not saying wearing Patella Brace Elastic Knee Support for Knees will cure your pain — but, it might help you manage it a little better and get around.

I’m giving these 5 stars because they’re exactly what I expected and wanted. I actually ordered these for my son who plays travel league basketball…. I bought him the large, he’s 6′ 5″, 176lbs and I measured his thigh at 6 inches. They do slide down a little, but I kinda knew he was between sizes when I measured him, so I went with the larger size since he’s only 15 and he’s still growing… but in retrospect the medium would have been fine. Nonetheless they work as intended… he reported less to no knee soreness after wearing these. Now granted he’s just a kid with healthy joints, but if you’re familiar with travel league ball you know the tourney schedule is tough and the typical player is playing 60+ games during the two month season, and these made a sgnificant difference for him. Would buy again.

According to my x-rays I have very minor arthritis in my knees but I’ve had a real problem over the past few years with fluid buildup. My knees would get so swollen and sore that I had trouble walking. They would get so stiff I was afraid to go up and down the stairs to my apartment. I tried so many braces but none of them helped. I read about knee sleeves and based on reviews bought a pair. What a relief! I was having a flareup with swelling and after I slipped these on, the pain was greatly reduced. The compression also helped dissipate the fluid, which made my knees feel much better even after I took the sleeves off. I made sure to measure my knees and I was right on the edge of medium, but I sized up and I think that’s working better for me. The sleeves are snug but not uncomfortably tight and I got a second pair so I can wash one pair and wear the other pair. Thank you, Mava Sports, for such a great product! I’m going to check out your compression socks for my plantar fasciitis!

I’m so glad I bought this for support. I do HIIT training and love to do lower body work out. I dead lift 185 lbs and squats 135-155. I had a slight knee injury to my right knee. I was doing RICE treatment (rest, ice, compression and elevation). It worked but needed something to support and prevent further damage or complication, so I decided to buy this one based on the reviews. It worked perfect and well fitted, stayed throughout my training. Not to compressing that it gives you uncomfortable feeling. My brother had a different support I tried using t at my workout but felt discomfort. The material is soft and sustainable. I even used them for WOD and running outdoor. Love them!

Got an arthritic knee. Usually leaves me be, but when a scouting activity or event comes up – like a hike, camp, etc. My knee will complain for days afterwards. On a whim, I bought this to wear only on my bad knee during summer camp. Dang, if it didn’t work like a charm. Not only is the pressure helpful, the fact it was there served as a reminder not to take sharp turns, to slow down on climbs and descents, etc. Pretty much stays in place, sometimes requires a tug. Very nice. It’s now a staple of my daypack and backpack.

I just got my knee supports today and they are wonderful! A wish come true! They fit perfectly and are evenly supportive. The top and bottom bands have a nice soft hem and aren’t tight and constricting like so many of the others I have tried. They offer support to my knee caps without mashing them against my bones and making them hurt worse. They perfectly support all the surrounding muscles and I feel no pain at all. I have gone up and down stairs briskly, I have had them on for hours now and they haven’t slipped a bit and they are still so comfortable, so warm. It is like a perfectly even embrace of my whole knee area. My thigh is not bulging over the top of a too-tight band. Typically, when I get home I take off my shoes, my knee supports, and my bra. Today, the knee supports are still on! I just love everything about them. I know they will be too warm come summer but that is months away here in Montana. I will worry about that then. In the interim, I hope this company never ever changes these or stops making them. Give them a try. They are divine!

My older knee compression sleeves were losing their effectiveness and are no longer sold. After looking at many these were a great price and sold as a pair- not single. I followed the sizing chart and mine fit perfect. They give immediate relief and do not slip/bunch and even on hot, humid days don’t make me sweat. I wear mine after exercising/running so I can’t say what they are like while exercising/running. I did have to wash them before I wore them because they made me itch. But they washed nicely on the delicate cycle and I wear them daily. I highly recommend them.

I have severe arthritis in my hip and knees and a knee that needs to be replaced. These MAVA knee supports have been a life changer. I wear the MAVA knee support on the knee that needs to be replaced 24 hours a day except while I take a shower. They do not roll. They do not make your knees sweat. They are attractive in case a little bit shows below your shorts. They fit nicely under skinny jeans and slacks. They are thin and comfortable yet they add a lot of support. I recommended a pair to my sister and I recommend them for anyone who has severe knee pain.
