Can be worn under a bike helmet, as long as the helmet doesn't interfere with the headphones in the back. They stick out a few inches and aren't snug on the neck. Unfortunately, this means I can't wear them in certain scenarios (like when I have my balaclava on).
Also, I dont know how much of this is really bone conduction and how much is just the speakers are close to my ears. I really don't buy it, but they do work well.
These headphones solve that problem. I can listen to music while running and biking in places where there is a lot of traffic, so primary problem solved. And on that basis along I strongly recommend this product.
But there are a couple of things to consider about these headphones. The first is the quality of the audio. If you expect to get anything near the sound quality from these headphones that you get from higher-end earbuds, think again. The audio quality from the Trekz is not great, you don't get much low-end. So don't expect that you'd use these for serious music listening.
The second is their fit. In general, they fit me relatively well, especially if I do not wear sunglasses. But with sunglasses, and a bike helmet, they can get a bit uncomfortable on longer rides --- both behind the ears an on the side of the head.
So these Trekz are a tradeoff --- you are giving up some sound quality, and might have a little discomfort, but you will hear traffic, and you'll be much safer running, walking, or biking in urban areas with heavy traffic. I have not had serious encounters with crazy auto drivers since using my Trekz, and I feel much safer going out for runs and bike rides while using them.
The fit and comfort are pretty good. I have a big head, 7 7/8 hat size, and these fit me well. There is maybe 1/2" of space along the back. If your head is much bigger, you may be pushing it. I do start to notice I'm wearing them after maybe an hour, but shifting them forward or back tends to help.
The audio quality exceeded my expectations. The best way I can describe it is it sounds like the speaker on my phone, but no one else can hear it. Their great for voice or watching videos, but just do the job for music. That was fine by me. You have to turn them up fairly loud before they start to leak sound. Also, since they leave the ear open, if I use them in the car or a noisy environment I have to turn them up pretty loud, but that's to be expected. They include some foam ear plugs that make them more like ear buds.
They're a little pricey, but for my personal use these seemed to fit best. I've really enjoyed them and recommend them.
I do wish they made one a little smaller around the back. They do stay on fine and everything...More
I do wish they made one a little smaller around the back. They do stay on fine and everything, and I get that they're 'one size fits all' so they need to accommodate larger heads, but they could made it like 2 inches shorter around and it would fit better. If I worked there I would pitch offering a sm/med and a med/lrg option. Because of the extra length, it kinda bows around the sides of my head a little, kinda pushing my ears out a little as it goes behind them (hard to visualize I guess). Still more comfortable to wear long term than any other headphones, but that's the first part to start to bug me if I have then in all day.
Despite that, I still love them and they still get 5 stars from me :)
The material is great, it really feels premium and durable, exactly what one expects from a product designed for sports.
But at the same time is really light and easy to wear.
The battery is also great! The description claims it last 5 hours, but I've got up to 8 hours with no problems, and it takes 1 hour to charge completely, so I can charge it while working on my computer, and it is ready to go when I leave.
The bluetooth connection is great. The pairing process is easy and fast, like most devices nowadays. Once the device pairs, it connects to the phone/tablet/laptop really quickly.
Taking a call with these is delightful! Calls are clear (as long as you have good reception, of course), and the built-in microphone picks your voice really good and clear.
And finally and the most important, the audio quality. First you have to have clear that this are bone conduction, therefore it does not cover your ears. Do not expect the best quality a pair of headphones can offer, or the best bass because bone conduction can't deliver that, at least not now.
Now, returning to the fact that the audio is bone conduction, then the quality is really great. You can listen music, podcasts, calls, and you can listen it clearly and with no problems at all, like it is inside your head, and without blocking the world surrounding you.
And the sound leakage is minimum, unless you set the volume to the maximum, then you can be easily be listening music without bothering others (other people may even not notice you're listening to music).
I use mine's while running, commuting and when working, and I am really happy with them. If you're searching for a good pair of bone conduction headphones, whether it's your first pair or getting new ones, I really recommend them.
You may think they're a little bit expensive, but the quality is worth it.

The open ear design of these headphones is perfect. With a touch of a button I can even pause the music and have a conversation without pulling anything away from my ears. The sound quality is great and people I am talking to on the phone say they can hear me clearly without any breakup.
Another bonus I found is when bluetooth connected to my computer, I can walk away without ripping at the cord my wired headphones have
